If you're having difficulty with scanning, try these parameters! ignore parameters not marked with red Now it's just a normal QR code - what's going on? Well, not "just" a QR code - we also use an algorithm to calculate a QR that best matches the outline of your picture. 2. The Spectrum of "QR Code-ness" Let's put it on a scale of 1 to 10. The image you gave us is at 1 - it's not a QR code at all. The black-and-white QR code you just made? 10! It's 100% QR code. Not a QR code at all Totally a QR code! (Q: What happens when you use QR code as an input? A: it won't work 🙀) Our Image-to-QR software works by allowing you to explore between 1 and 10. So in general, if your QR doesn't scan, try to make it "more of a QR code". 2. How do I make it "more of a QR code?" Easy! Choose values on the right for "more QR", and left for "more image". You can either use EasyScan, or the other 3 parameters (Click Manual to switch). EasyScan is a "preset" we've designed to simplify things. EasyScan=1 shows the most image, and EasyScan=4 the most QR. If EasyScan is not enough, here's how the 3 manual parameters work. Error Correction is a built-in feature of the QR code (i.e. we did not invent it 😅). This impacts the way the black and white dots are placed; higher value makes the QR code more "resilient," but note that the black and white dots won't match your image quite so well. Dot Size is self-explanatory 👽. Dotting Strength controls how clearly the black and white dots are drawn. This doesn't impact where the dots go, only how visible they are.
