Tubly uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API to provide a digest of your subscriptions, summaries, timestamps, transcripts, and translation features. Stripe manages free trials and paid subscriptions. We store Stripe customer and subscription IDs only to operate your account (see §4 and §5).1. Information We CollectWhen you sign in with Google, we receive your OpenID subject (user ID) and email. With your consent, we may read your YouTube channel subscriptions to build your digest. We process publicly available video data—such as titles, descriptions, and caption text where available—to generate summaries. We do not collect payment card data; payments are handled by our processor.2. Data Storage and SecurityWe store account and subscription data on secure infrastructure (AWS). Data in transit is protected with TLS; data at rest is protected where applicable. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel under least privilege.3. Data Sharing and DisclosureWe do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, logging, payments) under appropriate agreements, or when required by law.4. Billing DataSubscriptions and trials are managed by Stripe. Tubly itself does not store payment card numbers. We retain the Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, entitlements, trial start/end timestamps, and billing history necessary to enforce access, provide support, and satisfy legal or tax requirements.5. Data RetentionWe retain account, usage, and billing records only as long as necessary to provide Tubly, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Trial-specific data (such as trial start and expiration timestamps) is removed once it is no longer needed for support or audit purposes.6. Your Choices and Data DeletionYou may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. To revoke Google access, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your Tubly account and associated data, open the extension and go to Settings → Delete account. For assistance, contact us (see §11). Upon verified deletion requests, we delete your account data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. Canceling your subscription through Stripe stops future billing; Stripe may retain customer/invoice records as required for compliance.7. Cookies and TrackingExtension: we do not use third-party tracking cookies. Marketing site: we may use privacy-respecting analytics which may set first-party or cookieless metrics; details are provided in our Cookie Notice.8. Children's PrivacyOur app is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.9. Stored identity fields are described in §1. No write access to YouTube.- TabsUsed on YouTube to detect the current video. When you request a summary, the current YouTube video URL may be sent to our API solely to generate that summary. Unless canceled before the trial ends, billing begins automatically at USD $4.99 per month (or the locally equivalent amount). Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. We do not issue refunds for partially used billing periods unless required by applicable law.3. Intellectual PropertyWe do not claim ownership over any YouTube content. All YouTube content is the property of its respective owners and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. We send you to Stripe’s secure customer portal to manage payment methods and immediate cancellation. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.10.
